Machine Head have announced some details on the direction of their new album and announced a UK tour.

In a previous post I’d discussed/mentioned about what style/direction we can expect on the new Machine Head album and lead singer Robb Flynn has given us a hint. In the previous post ( New Machine Head album ) I’d hoped they may continue with the heavy theme of the past two albums but it seems this won’t be the case. Robb Flynn has indicated it will be heavy at times but the overall theme will be a more melodic and groove ridden sound. Does this bother me? No not it the slightest instead it has added to my anticipation to listen to it. Like I’ve mentioned in posts about new albums I will judge if I like an album once I’ve listened to it a few times, so again this will be the case with this album.

In addition to this hot on the heel’s of a North American tour announcement I was happy to see ( after checking my Twitter account ) they’ll be touring the UK in May 2018. I’ve enclosed the tour dates below to check out, I for one will probably be entering the race for tickets when they go on sale this Friday.
