George Young who helped AC/DC in it’s early days has sadly passed away at the age of 70.

It has been said in statements released and is fair to say that without George Young’s help we may never have had an AC/DC. Like so many bands it is usually the case that without a little or unheard of family member, friend or person’s contribution some bands may never have or will go onto great great things. This is one case for me with George Young, himself an accomplished musician he helped out playing bass in the early day’s of AC/DC then going on to co-produce some of their greatest albums ( in my opinion ) including  T.N.T, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Let There be Rock to name a few.

With all this I give thanks to George Young for helping give us AC/DC as we know it and for the albums/music he helped contribute to.

RIP George Young
